Endgame Gym

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what the Endgame Gym iPhone app does with your data. Endgame Gym is published by Joel Hernandez (“we”). Contact: joelhcode@gmail.com.

In short: no accounts, no ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data. Your training progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud. We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app.

Data on your device and in your iCloud

Your progress, puzzle rating, streak and settings are stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is turned on for the app, they are also synced through Apple’s iCloud to your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This copy lives in your iCloud account under Apple’s privacy policy; we cannot access it.

Anonymous usage statistics

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used, for example which drills are started or finished, puzzle results, whether the daily set is completed, when the purchase screen is shown, and which plan is bought or restored. Events include your answers to the first-run questions (your rating range, goal and weakest endings), the app version, device model, iOS version, language and time zone. They are linked to a random identifier created by the app, not to your name, email, Apple ID or any other identity. PostHog stores these events in the United States. It uses your IP address only to estimate an approximate location (country and city), then discards it; we configure it not to keep IP addresses. We use this data only to improve the app.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check which purchases are active. RevenueCat receives your App Store transaction information and an anonymous app user identifier.

Emails to us

If you email us (for example with Report a problem in Settings), we receive your email address and what your message contains, including the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and language that the app fills in for you. You see all of it before sending. We use it only to reply to you.

Reminders

Daily reminders and the trial reminder are scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

What we don’t do

Retention and your choices

Deleting the app removes its data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy, turn off iCloud for Endgame Gym or delete its data in your iPhone’s iCloud settings. Usage statistics are kept for up to one year. Because they are anonymous we usually cannot link them to you, but you can email us with any request about your data and we will help as far as we can.

Children

Endgame Gym is suitable for all ages. It has no accounts and does not ask for names, emails or other contact details. The anonymous usage statistics described above are collected the same way for every user.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
